This Policy explains what information the Somoni mobile application (“Somoni”, the “App”, “we”) handles, how it is used and shared, how long it is kept, and the choices available to you. It applies to the App on Apple and Android platforms.
Somoni works without an account. We do not ask for your name, identity documents, bank credentials, card details, contacts, precise location, photos, camera, or microphone. The App stores preferences, cached rates, and rate alerts locally. If advertising is enabled, Google AdMob and/or Yandex Mobile Ads may collect device, advertising, usage, and ad-interaction data as described below. We do not sell personal information.

We do not intentionally collect bank account numbers, payment-card details, transaction histories, identity documents, contacts, precise location, health data, photos, audio, or camera data.
Ads may be supplied by Google AdMob and Yandex. Their SDKs and advertising partners may process information under their own policies. We require service providers that receive personal data through the App to provide protection consistent with this Policy and applicable Apple requirements.
Where law requires consent, the App will request advertising consent before requesting personalized ads. On iOS, access to the IDFA and tracking across apps or websites will occur only after authorization through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. Refusing tracking does not remove access to Somoni’s core features; you may receive contextual, non-personalized, or limited ads instead. You can change consent through the App’s privacy choices control when shown, iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, Android advertising/privacy settings, or by contacting us.
We do not ourselves combine advertising data with directly identifying information, sell personal information, or use financial information for advertising.
Depending on your location, processing relies on: performance of the service you request; consent for personalized advertising, tracking, and optional notifications where required; legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention, service reliability, and support; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Information may be processed by Supabase and its infrastructure providers for backend hosting; Google and its advertising partners for AdMob; Yandex and its advertising partners for Yandex Mobile Ads; Apple or Google for app distribution, operating-system services, notifications, and purchases if any; and authorities where disclosure is legally required. Partner and bank websites opened from Somoni are independent services. Their policies apply after you leave the App.
We do not disclose personal data to a partner bank merely because its rate or offer appears in the App.
To request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding data controlled by us, email shohlabs.dev@gmail.com. We may verify the request. For data held independently by Google, Yandex, Apple, or a destination website, use that provider’s privacy controls. Locally stored data can be deleted in the App or by uninstalling it.
Rate alerts and reminders require notification permission. You can revoke it in device settings and delete or disable alerts in the App. Somoni does not require notification or tracking permission for core rate comparison and calculator functionality.
Providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no system is guaranteed completely secure.
Somoni is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required locally. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads should be configured with applicable child/age-treatment settings. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal data.
Depending on your country or state, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; and complain to a regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
We may update this Policy when the App, providers, or law changes. We will post the new version with an updated effective date and provide additional notice where required. Materially different use of personal data will be subject to any consent required by law.
